Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) Practitioners Course
Time & Location
About the Event
The aim of this 3 day course is to teach students how to undertake basic RAM analysis activities. This includes teaching basic mathematical and statistics theory. Key elements of the course include Reliability Demonstration Test (RDT) development, Reliability Growth Planning (RGP), RAM Assurance activities and a review of prevalent Failure Mechanisms. A simulated exercise that reinforces RAM engineering considerations will be applied to real-life materiel system development and assurance. The exercise will include 'investigative' RAM data analysis (such as that to inform a design team charged with improving RAM performance) and 'assurance-based' RAM data analysis (such as a test and evaluation regime imposed by a customer as a gate for acceptance). This exercise will include both individual and group components.
